Checklist

  1. Do I have a beginning, middle, and end to my story?
  2. Did I use describing words to help tell my story?
  3. Does my story have characters, a plot, and a setting?
  4. Did I edit my story and correct proofreading errors?

  • Although the students were not graded by certain percentage points, because of the type of portfolio project they do at the end of the year; the students were graded on a pass or fail of how well this "checklist" was fulfilled and if the story made sense and flowed.
